Position summary

Allianz Global Assistance China is seeking a talented individual, with a proven track record success in a senior sales role, to join our team as head of Dealer Group. The person will lead and manage the Dealer Group sales team, be responsible for archiving our ambitious growth plans, and engage with Senior Management to develop and implement sales strategies and exceed budgeted levels of sales growth in the line of Automotive Dealer Group industry. ,

Position Accountabilities
- Develop long and short-term sales strategy for Dealer Group businesses include but not limited to Extended Warranty and Roadside Assistance services.
- Develop & maintain key client strategic relationships with dealer groups.
- Lead business negotiations with clients at all levels & mobilize internal senior management team based on needs.
- Negotiate and conclude contracts with clients through appropriate propositions, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and client satisfaction, while always ensuring the business is secured at favourable rates.
- Under AWP initiative, ensure a fully aligned collaboration with Global Automotive and support the delivery of distribution model;
- Support business communications with fronters if needed.
- Manage the sales, support, & development functions in accordance with agreed budgets.
- Manage pricing policy and margins according to agreed aims, in consultation with other departments
- Develop new product/service initiatives in response to identified opportunities
- Recruit, spire, develop, manage and motivate a growing sales team who will deliver high standards of sales service across all identified channels.
- Provide a regular update to the leadership team on the sales plan versus actual achievement and to ensure the achievement of the assigned business goals and objectives
- Work closely with Market Management team, based on constant analysis & consultations, to ensure that AGA China service offering is appropriate for the market, and implement changes to sales & marketing strategies as needed to respond to changing environment
- Maintain a strong focus on the growth and profitability of existing business – both to ensure the company’s interests are protected in a re-negotiation & as a basis for quoting new business
- Work closely with the Operations, Underwriting and other internal teams to ensure successful smooth delivery of service.

Required Qualifications
- University degree level education as a minimum requirement, with majors in Management or Marketing preferable, MBA degree and/or oversea education background/working experience is a plus.
- At least 8 years prior work experience in Sales and Management role in automotive industry (car manufacturer) with proven successes, in-depth knowledge on Extended Warranty is preferred.
- Team player, with proven leadership, professionalism and presentation skills, both strong on business development and client servicing; strategic thinking, planning, coaching, driving, influencing, convincing, consultancy competency are also highly requested. the sense of financial output is definitely nice to have.
- Excellent oral and written communication in both Mandarin and English, able to work in an international environment.
- To ensure the good communication with both local client and company top management, the ideal candidate should be a Chinese who possess the westernized mindset
- Self-motivated person who is comfortable in working in a results based position.
- A friendly, professional manner is imperative, as is the ability to prepare and make presentations effectively.
- Computer literacy.
- Availability to travel regularly within China and occasionally overseas.
