1.Makes sure that projects come in on time and on budget with excellent build quality.

2.Establishes consistent communication with partners in the department and company-wide. Implements commerical management of construction process, utilising the Blue Horizon contracting strategy.

3.Spending sufficient time with and in operations to understand how to constantly improve our restaurants and to be a challenging partner for Operations. Know the equipment and building needs of Blue Horizon brands.

4.Implementing the processes and procedures for Project Management. Abiding by all regulatory and legal aspects of the build process as required by all relevant countries and municipalities.

5.Performs compliant tender and collates historical cost data. Utilises cost analysis to identify savings. Utilises framework agreements in construction process. Reports tenders and costs on a monthly basis to Cost Managers.

6.Cooperates with Operations maintenance department to ensure the comprehensive handover of documentation on completion of a new build. Makes introduction to all project partners so that the Maintenance people can carry out their job effectively.

7.Coordinates design and construction issues with internal parties, landlords, general contractors, kitchen supplier, and IT. Supports in resolution of legal and construction issues, oversees licensing, etc.

8.Provides regular feedback on design of our restuarants so that we can value engineer the process and end product.

9.Is constantly trying to improve. Works with Ops and design to enhance layouts so they help lead continuous improvement wihin Operations. Always looking for improvements in the process to bring more value to our new restaurants.

10.Supervises the procurement and construction activities of Franchisees in order to ensure that their restaurants are built to the highest quality standard and in accordance with the approved design.
