Main responsibilities of the position:
1, Leadership of the IT team. Comfortable working in English and Chinese with US contracted IT services (Network Essentials) and manager.
2, Creativity and innovativeness with regards to planning IT growth for a small to medium company. Able to effectively analyze multiple options and determine the best from cost and technology perspectives. Able to stay abreast on the latest developments in the industry (both in China and globally). Willing to try new things and push the envelope.
3, Ownership of the company SAP system with regards to updating and maintenance, as well as planning effective growth, expansion.
4, Planning and budgeting on a quarterly and annual basis.
5, Effective and efficient management of the operation, implementation, and support of IT LAN/WAN, server, telephony and telecommunications equipment. Management and training of direct reports.
6, Work with US counterpart to manage day-to-day tasks related with front end IT and assist as needed with back end IT.
7, Develop a clear and concise set of operational processes. Ensure that defined operational processes are adhered to and reporting evidence is maintained to support annual audit compliance as necessary
8, Be able to implement and manage IT Projects in alignment with the company’s strategies and business needs.
9, Communicate effectively to management to explain current IT situation and help balance needs. Weekly update to direct manager. Frequent communication with US team.
10, Be responsible and timely, and set the example of a conscientious manager to the rest of the team and the company.

Principal competencies, skills and background:
1, B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field.
2, 3-5 years of relevant experience.
3, Experience with network infrastructure and IT hardware support.
4, Creative, good problem solving skills, and "out-of-the-box" thinking
5, Proven experience with implementing, using or supporting Wintel system and groupware.
6, Good verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
7, Able to work independently, setting of priorities and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
8, Network and other IT industry certificate is a plus.
9, Previous project management experience or certificate is a plus
