Job Purpose:
Reporting to Corporate External Communications Manager – Greater China, the Senior Marketing Communications Executive is responsible for upholding the reputation and image of STMicroelectronics, one of top 10 global semiconductor companies, through strategically-developed External Communications initiatives in China and Hong Kong targeting various key stakeholders of customers, distribution partners, opinion leaders, academias, engineering and media community, etc.
Incumbent will have to working closely with various local, regional and global Business Units to implement integrated marketing programs encompassing trade shows, speaking platforms, technology day/road show/customer seminar, mass market activities, Chinese website (www.st.com), social media (weibo), thematic advertising including on-site support for Southern China.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Proactively liaise with internal business units to ascertain their Marcom as well as Corporate External Communications needs for China and Hong Kong
- Identify, develop, plan, implement and monitor multi-channel, multi-faceted marcom programs such as customer event/technology day/road show, trade show, mass market outreach, advertising and localized marketing collaterals while at all times adhering to company’s branding guidelines
- Put together and monitor on monthly basis the annual Marcom budget including fundings from various businesses
- Work closely with corporate webmaster and vendor to maintain and update the company’s Chinese website
- Develop, execute and monitor highly creative social media campaigns as further outreach to engage company’s key stakeholders
- Supervise external suppliers/contractors/vendors to ensure proper management of events
- Perform analytics and reports to measure effectiveness of marcom activities, advertising, web management and social media campaigns
- Responsible for day-to-day CEC matters and be main interface in Shanghai site
- Support other CEC team members in China and in the region when required

Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of relevant marketing communications experience in technology or semiconductor industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or other relevant disciplines
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) especially required for website translation of materials
- Track record in trade show/event management including planning, implementation, post-event review and analysis
- Broad understanding of digital marketing techniques including social media is advantageous
- Have fair knowledge of media relations management and cultivation
- Good contacts with trade show organizers, event vendors/suppliers, production houses, etc
- Demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, detail-oriented and meet stringent deadlines
- Work well independently and in team setting with good inter-personal skills
- Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
