Role Purpose
The position is responsible for:
?Managing and growing key account relationships, setting the search marketing (PPC, SEO and emerging channels such as Mobile Search) strategy for clients and working with other teams within the organization as their channel planning partner.
?Ensuring the effectiveness of relationships with clients, the quality of all deliverables and the integration of creative search marketing and digital media ideas and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
?Developing and advising the search team members and work closely with the China teams. This also requires
?Streamlining search approaches, developing and enhancing processes and evaluating appropriate tools for the search teams in China.
?Oversee full portfolio of Pay per Click and Natural Search clients by managing and coordinating the account team to achieve and exceed clients ROI objectives. You will also manage your own portfolio of clients
?Strengthen client relationships through proactive account directorship
?Maintain client satisfaction to an agreed target & maintain client retention to an agreed target
Key Accountabilities
?Oversee and grow search budgets for clients and ensure the quality of deliverables; e.g., quality keyword research, timely, on strategy/objective, meeting standards.
?Rationalize and deliver projected revenue from existing clients
?Direct and participate in initiatives that generate new revenue from clients.
?Set the agenda and provide oversight to the team on all aspects of paid search (PPC) campaigns, including managing keyword research, bid management and campaign optimization processes.
?Set the agenda and provide oversight to the team on all aspects of Search Engine Optimizations (SEO) projects.
?Trailblaze, activate, and grow social and mobile search activity and revenue.
?Maintain close relationships with search marketing and technology vendors to develop innovative search marketing solutions.
?Build and foster search engine relationships in China
?Help train and get certification for search teams and seek the highest partnership certification and status with Baidu and other search partners.
?Develop thought leadership initiatives ie white papers, best practices, conference and events.
?Generating results that deliver the clients anticipated ROI objectives
?Continually strengthen and forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication including face to face meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication
?Responsible for effectively and successfully developing and motivating the account team to achieve company KPI’s and individual development goals
?Ensure the account team follow procedure and adhere to requirements including contracts, account plans, new proposals, monthly and quarterly reporting
?Develop and deliver to the team motivational strategies for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
Personal Specification
?6+ years of search marketing and digital media; preferably in performance media
?Strong skills in search marketing, across paid (PPC), performance media, organic (SEO) search, mobile and social search
?Proficiency in bid management tools and web analytics tools
?Leadership in large international clients in the area of search
?Being enthusiastic about search and how search drives business results
