Knowledge and Experience Profile
？ 1-6 years relevant experience ideally in an accounting or financial services or equity research based background
0-30 months experience for RAs
30-60 months experience for SRAs
> 60 months experience for ARMs
？ Team membership of multicultural teams / global teams is an advantage

？ Graduates, MBA, CPA, CFA from recognized institutions

Primary ResponsibilitiesTo assist sector analyst (s) in his coverage, including (amongst other things):

o Managing financial models and databases (including constructing, and maintaining)
o Populating and managing existing financial databases
o Extracting and analyzing data from websites, publications, data vendors, and internal database.
o Creating and updating presentations based on existing research and ideas
o Liasing with Production team, compliance and Supervisory Analysts on research in production.
o Preparing analysis for bespoke requests from sales staff, and other research users
o Building financial models to encompass DCF, EVA, EV, and earnings based multiple analysis
o Assist with financial forecasts and valuations
o Contribute to written research reports.
o Generate ideas for research reports, and coverage.

Job Requirement and Skills
o Strong quantitative/numeric, analytical, and problem solving skills
o Strong Excel spreadsheet and presentation formatting skills (powerpoint or presXpress)
o Attention to detail.
o Excellent written and spoken English
o Excellent accounting skills, and experience in financial statement analysis.
o Ideally, some experience of constructing financial models - either in research or corporate finance environments
o Exposure to market data and banking reference data technologies and business terminology
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Sector industry experiences an advantage.

For ARM's and above: Manage day to day admin activities, Allocate work/staffing of team, Act as interface between analysts and other Cognizant associates

Training will be provided in Cognizant Research:
Market Data Systems
Database and applications
Accounting, Modeling, and Valuation
Compliance and culture.

Career PathAssociate will able to progress materially as follows over time:
？ Become an experienced analyst in the deliverables outlined in the key tasks for the role
？ Progress to more complex deliverables as Equity Research Analyst/ Associate

In time, and after demonstrating relevant capabilities, Analyst may also have the ability to move laterally into other areas of Cognizant Research.
