Job Responsibilities

a. Managing production/QA/DEV system to drive troubleshooting, problem resolution, high availability and performance, resolve errors and alarms quickly or perform timely escalations as indicated
b. Perform everyday tasks such as configuring systems, installing software, providing guidance in technical meetings, defining standards, assisting with research and design for architectural issues, assisting/providing status updates, attending project meetings and implementation of new search features
c. Individual is required to perform on-call duty on a rotational basis
d. Assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning
e. Automation of repeatable work
f. Act as a key member (support/consultant/lead) on various site projects
Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability or projects of all system infrastructure

Job Requirements

a. 3+ years of Linux or Unix system administrator experience
b. Basic knowledge of Networking (LAN and WAN,)
c. Know well Python/Java, bash shell or batch script language
d. Can perform 12x7 on-call duty on rotational
e. Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
f. Good learning attitude and sense
g. Exhibit procedural and architectural documentation skills
h. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers, customers and management
i. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required
j. Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
