We are looking for a results-oriented software developer to join a new, agile team developing and deploying distributed software technology for build and test automation, in support of and partnering with a server software product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating build and test infrastructure using modern distributed technology. This candidate will also be detail-oriented, self- directed, and passionate about his /her work.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with the engineering leadership to clarify requirements for the build and test infrastructure to support a cross-functional distributed engineering team.
- Analyze requirements and propose solutions, including scalable, distributed job scheduling.
- Identify and evaluate tools and technologies for scheduling.
- Design, implement, and deploy systems to track progress and results of the jobs scheduled.
- Design, implement, and deploy systems to facilitate hardware capacity planning, reservation and utilization.
-Design, implement, and deploy systems that provide visibility into execution status in the distributed infrastructure
- Participate in the full application development lifecycle -- from gathering requirements through architecture, development, performance tuning, testing and deployment to support.

Qualifications:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline

Required Experience:

- 5+ years experience in product software development
- Experience building distributed solutions for build and test execution
- Scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
- Building Java or C++ applications using build tools - such as Ant, Maven, Make.
- Familiarity with systems level programming in Linux and Windows
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Desired Experience:

- Previous experience with Hudson, AnthillPro, STAF or similar systems is a definite plus
- Usage of Databases and familiarity with SQL.
- Performance testing of server/database systems
- Agile software development methodology
