职位描述

Key Individual Accountabilities


  • Manage and drive a customer centric commercial sales and service team for the Asia region
? Manage and be accountable for the performance and results of the team. Responsible for day-to-day management, setting objectives, coaching and developing employees and performance appraisal.


?Centrally manage sales tools related regional projects requiring organization-wide coordination


?Salesforce.com process definition & improvements, user adoption, KPIs, application enhancements, administration and user support (helpdesk)


?Drive shared dashboard & report creations for new local as well as regional functions


?Recognized as a CRM and other tool subject matter expert => senior MM cross functional project member


?iPad, Service Max process etc implementation: continuously develop improvements, track and improve user adoption, KPIs, application enhancements, administration and user support


?Partner with LTO governance on tools and services for enhancements.


?Partner with EMEA and Americas Commercial operations to ensure global alignment especially on future enhancements


?Analyze business process and systems performance, identify improvement opportunities developing best practice and then support the team to implement practical and sustainable business process improvements. Facilitate decision making and develop improvement proposals to Management based on cost/benefit analysis.


?Maintains responsibility for the optimization of sales processes and acts as a centralized resource delivering direct benefit to Sales force productivity. Maximize customer-facing time, simplify management processes, streamline reporting processes, allow reps to spend more time with customers and managers to spend more time coaching reps rather than wasting time in inefficient processes




Key Skills/ Knowledge


? Business knowledge of Merck Millipore including products, commercial processes, stakeholder interaction, cultural awareness


? Experienced in leading a results oriented team, preferably within a virtual environment


? Strong networking and influencing skills, internally and externally including senior leaders.


? Strong project management expertise, process design skills, and experienced in operational sales activities understanding the needs of commercial


? Experience establishing new business & communication tools (eg. CRM tools like SFDC, e-commerce)


? Team oriented, execution driven and with strong communication + interpersonal skills


? Fluent in English, flexible and willing to travel within the sub region, additional Asia languages like Chinese or Japanese a plus


? Customer oriented (external / internal)


? Require extensive professional experience (approximately 10-12 years as a guide) including substantial managerial experience.


? Require depth and/ or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field combined with knowledge of the market and competitors.
