MISSION

-Ensures best practice IT operations supporting local business needs, compliant to Corporate Siemens IT policies and regulations and in line with Siemens global and SFS IT Strategy

DIMENSIONS

-The IT Manager is the local representative of a global IT organization and is responsible for the selection, implementation, enhancement, execution and monitoring of all locally used IT infrastructure, Applications and services.

-Therefore the IT Manager and his/her team will be involved as the lead or as a teammember in Project, Change , Incident , Release , Service , Application , Infrastructure , Personnel, Knowledge and Financial Management activities.

What are my responsibilities?

-The IT Manager ensures that following tasks will be timely and correctly executed by him/her or his/her local IT Team

1. Application management: daily tasks such as user management, security management, etc.; includes also managing internal and external service providers for IT services (e.g. database, network, application, interfaces etc.); first level support for users;

2. Project and Change management: enabling and integrating existing or new business processes into the IT platform; collecting user requests for changes/enhancements within the software; managing and coordination of internal process owners to avoid conflicts and inconsistencies, prioritizing of the change requests; managing the solution process (software provider, consultants); Evaluation and implementation of new software if required

3. Incident management: collection and qualification of software bugs / faults, managing the trouble shooting process (software suppliers, Service Level Provider)

4. Release management: Organization and running of test for new releases, service packs and hot fixes;

5. Documentation of parameter settings, authorizations and release / fixes;

6. Preparation and supporting in case of IT audits;

7. IT Infrastructure management

8.1 Hardware management: managing Service Provider(s), negotiation of service level agreements, quality reviews, taking care of hardware refreshes and new investments in hardware

9.2 Software management: managing Service Provider(s), negotiation of service level agreements, quality reviews, taking care of application patches, service packs and upgrades; includes managing of the testing process.

10. Infosec Coordinator - ensure the implementation of information security requirements

11. Ensure that local IT Operations comply with the Siemens IT governance policies

12. Knowledge Management: Enables necessary IT resources and IT expertise (local IT Team, Consultants). Conduct relevant IT trainings to company staff

13. Financial Management: Ensure and monitor necessary financial resources for running all IT Operations (IT Budget, Forecasting, Controlling)

What do I need to quality for this job?

Experience

- At least 7 years experience in IT (prefer finance / leasing related); multinational company experience required

- Experience in defining business application per business requirements (prefer prior exposure to finance / work experience in financial services industry)

- Strong communication, collaborative skills

- Proven project management skills, detail oriented and process driven

- More than 2 years team leading experience

- Proficient in English / Knowledge of Chinese would be an asset

Education - Bachelor or above
