PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Installed Base Maintenance and Support (IMS) is a dynamic and growing global organization within SAP China, recognized for its world-class services and support offerings. IMS supports SAP’s customers worldwide as the product owner for all products in mass shipment.
SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) is a corporate performance management software that focuses on financial budgeting and consolidation as well as collaboration through reports and scorecards.
We search for engaged persons joining our team to provide corrections for customer issues,take the code ownership, proactively improve the product and also represent the support point of view to the development organization. Moreover the team needs to act as a trusted advisor for any kind of BPC-related matters – for customers as well as SAP-internally.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Preferred candidates will be team player, customer and service oriented, motivated and reliable.
Tasks include:
• Work in an international team support customers by solving their support messages,creating support notes and documentation
• Handle critical customer situations
• Contribute on continuous improvement of software quality (stability, robustness,performance, TCO, ...); design and implement improvements of software architecture and applications
• Provide support and training to other colleagues
• Participate in important projects and take project management role (support package & patch schedule and monitoring, project status reporting, backlog tracking, etc.)
• Provide regular product feedbacks or customer feedbacks to development team

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• B.S or above in computer science, engineering or mathematics
• Good knowledge in the ABAP, VB .Net ( or equivalent ) programming language
• Ability to design and implement software corrections within a given software architecture
• Good knowledge of software development and modeling tools
• Good analytical, problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills in English
• Good project management skill and PMP is preferable

WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least 3 years working experience in software development or maintenance.
