Job Description
Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online (WDPRO) is an exciting and dynamic environment that is responsible for creating the web presence for the entire spectrum of Walt Disney’s vacation and travel offerings.
As a member of the Technology team you will be defining the technology platform for The Walt Disney Company’s premier travel web sites. As a Technical Lead on that team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery and execution of projects on the WDW site.
The Manager of Software Engineering is responsible for building and directing a development team consisting of 4+ software developers. This team will lead and participate in projects related to our family of online products and applications.
This person directly oversees, mentors, and develops technical staff and has direct technical supervision of client and server developers. In addition, he/she will be responsible for technical analysis, effort estimation, product and system design, architectural fit and compliance, resource schedules, delivery milestones, and overall product quality.
This position requires the ability to manage a variety of diverse and sometimes conflicting requests, priorities, and activities. Candidates will need management and communication skills to interact with people at all levels, within WDPRO and across the Walt Disney Company.

Responsibilities
? Provide technical leadership in development and support of WDPRO products and systems
? Accountable for development process and schedules
? Manage, mentor and grow technology staff
? Provide engineering support to business units and external groups
? Identify and manage industry-leading external developers and vendors
? Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and staff with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
? Participate in the broader WDPRO & GBTS organizations, and ensure that, where possible, products are created in a platform-centric manner
? Establish best-practices and coding techniques; streamline the development cycle

Basic Qualifications
? A minimum of 6 years of online development experience
? A minimum of 3 years experience in managing technical professionals
? Knowledge of Traditional and Agile software development lifecycles and methodologies.
? Expertise in dynamic web site development using Java, PHP and relational databases
? Experience with the creation and consumption of SOAP and REST Web Services
? In depth knowledge of front end web development, including the use of HTML, CSS, AJAX and Flash.
? A sound understanding of content management systems
? Solid understanding of ecommerce architecture, connectivity technologies, web hosting, advanced network protocols, client-server technologies, applications development and multi-vendor environments
? Experience in a large media, technology or internet company
? Success at achieving sophisticated technology goals on-time and on-budget
? A comfort level with complex, matrixed organizations containing a certain amount of ambiguity


Required Education
A BS, ideally in computer science, or equivalent experience is preferred

基本条件
? 至少拥有6年网站开发经验
? 至少拥有3年管理技术专员经验
? 拥有传统和敏捷软件开发生命周期和方法方面的知识
? 对使用Java, PHP和关系数据库开发动态网站有深入的了解
? 有创建和使用 SOAP 和 REST 网站服务方面的经验
? 深入了解前端网站开发，包括对HTML, CSS, AJAX 和 Flash的使用
? 充分了解内容管理系统
? 对电子商务架构、连接性技术、网站托管、高级网络协议、客户端 - 服务器技术、应用程序开发和多供方环境具有较深的理解
? 拥有大型媒体、技术或互联网企业工作经验
? 能成功地在规定时间和规定预算内实现复杂技术目标
