Principal Responsibilities: The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Real Estate department ‘s Coordinator/Administrative Assistant position will support the Corporate Real Estate Asia Pacific portfolio. This position will be located in Shanghai.

The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Corporate Real Estate, also based in Shanghai, and provide administrative support, as well as assist in the coordination and maintenance of the Asia Pacific real estate portfolio.

The Asia Pacific Corporate Real Estate department is responsible for managing the leased properties located within the Walt Disney Company’s portfolio, in addition to providing real estate support for all business units located within the region. Candidates are required to possess proven multi-tasking experience and strong written and oral communication skills.


Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities:

?Provide administrative support to Account Management as well as the Real Estate team for scheduling meetings, calendar coordination, travel & expense report preparation/arrangements, drafting and proofreading communications and responding to a wide-variety of Corporate Real Estate inquiqies.
?Maintaining timelines and managing deadlines.
?Learning lease data base systems and maintain lease files and documents.
?Maintain files on project Transaction Initiation Requests (TIRs), Project Initiation Requests (PIRs) and Capital Authorization Requests (CARs).
?Professionalism
?Maintain knowledge of key clients and contacts.
?Update and maintain project status reports for the Asia Pacific region.
?Various research tasks on past and present real estate projects, lease terms and clauses.
?Develop and maintain positive relations with associates at Corporate and other Regional Offices.
Basic Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
?Minimum 3-5 years of administrative and relevant work experience in a Real Estate or Facility Management environment.
?Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail; strong administrative skills.
?Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
?Willingness to learn basic understanding of corporate real estate practices and associated terms.
?Working knowledge of international time zones and local business practices.
?Experience dealing with international offices with a focus on travel and schedule coordination, differences in document formatting, standard business practices.
?Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point;
?Strong multitasking skills are required, must be comfortable with juggling multiple projects simultaneously and handling tight deadlines.
?Must possess strong English practices both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications

?Mandarin language skills a plus.
?Real Estate, project management and/or an interest in corporate real estate also a plus.
