Job Title: Associate Marketing Manager_Business Planning
Reports To (Job Title): Senior Manager, China Marketing
Line of Business: Marketing
Division / Department: HKDL - Marketing
Work Location: Shanghai
Position Summary:
Responsible to unveil and translate China market insights into the development and implementation of annual business plan and regional strategy to drive China visitation. Able to connect the dots from different business data and information to help formulate the strategies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Direct responsible to conduct annual and regular regional business review to drive insights that help input into strategy development and obtain approval from Senior Manager and endorsement from Director, Marketing.
2. Support Senior Manager, China marketing to formulate annual regional china marketing plan and obtain approval from Director, Marketing.
3. Partner with Sales and Distribution Marketing teams to ensure marketing plan and trade activities are fully integrated and support can be leveraged. Facilitate China market teams business understanding that help shape HK marketing discipline teams’ communication and on-line strategies.
4. Responsible for on-time analysis of attendance level that help drive continuous improvement of marketing strategies and trade activities.
5. Direct responsible for managing (plan, control and evaluate) annual regional marketing budget to drive maximize ROI and gain approval from Senior Manager, China Marketing.
Internal Factors
1. Need to tap into new evolving consumer trend in China and translate that into integrated marketing and sales strategies
2. HKDL is yet to set up properly to maximize China potential (contracting, multiple legal restrictions, operational support…)
3. Limited exposure or understanding of China across LOBs
External Factors
1. Lack of structuralize industry data to support business decision making
2. Unpredictable change in market dynamics – policy driven market. Complex government regulations in relation to our business
3. Consumer diversity in different regions
This position is critical for China marketing to materialize its strategy in achieving annual business plan.

Strong influencing skill, always derive tactics and activities with strategic intent. Mobilize in distance and impactful communication skills.
Business Analytical Skill – Business related data, research report, market/consumer insight
Communication Skill – Articulate and translate findings into solid plan, effectively negotiate and communicate to influence key stakeholders to deliver holistic plans
Disney Knowledge - Essential Disney knowledge to ensure strategies are driving to build company building over the time.
Job Requirements And Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree
Minimum Experience: 6 years with multinational companies in China
Preferred Experience: Over6 years experience in companies that are best-in-class in marketing discipline with P&L responsibilities.
