Job Title: Associate Marketing Manager_Digital
Reports To (Job Title):Senior Manager, China Marketing
Line of Business:Marketing
Division / Department:HKDL - Marketing

Position Summary:
Identify and evaluate China specific online opportunities and translate into marketing insight to input in online / Social media strategy development. Align China online marketing strategy with HKDL Taobao ecommerce plan and drive conversion
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1.To work with Senior Manager, China Marketing on translating China online opportunities into marketing insight and input in online strategy development
2.To work closely with Digital team and deploy China specific marketing goals and objectives / online communication brief
3.To work in conjunction with Digital Team and IMC as thought partner, particularly on local insight and relevance
4.To monitor and provide timely feedback to discipline teams on in market campaign execution
5.To work with Senior Manager, China Marketing, as gate-keeper and assess the relevance of disciplines’ works.
Business Expertise:
A trend watcher of online communication, and able to translate opportunities to marketing insight
High level understanding of ecommerce, SEO, SEM, social media, search and mobile
Knowledge around the principles of integrated digital marketing
Internal Factors
1. Limited exposure or understanding of China online across LOBs
2. Need to tap into new evolving consumer trend in China
3. HKDL is yet to set up properly to maximize China potential (contracting, multiple legal restrictions, operational support…)
External Factors
1. Booming and evolving online commercial environment in China
2. Lack of structuralize industry data to support business decision making
3. Consumer diversity in different regions
Nature & Area of Impact:
This position is critical for China marketing to materialize its strategy online in achieving annual business plan.
Interactions / Interpersonal Skills:
This position requires consistent interactions with HK based Digital and Integrated Marketing Communication team and E-commerce team. Hence her/his ability to crystallize ideas in both verbal and written, inspire and motivate others, the ability to cope with diversity to achieve business goals are critical.
Decision Making:
1. Evaluation of proposal and co-op opportunities from Agency or HK discipline teams
2. Making effective judgments as to prioritization and time allocation
3. Input to post campaigns evaluations to drive continuous improvement
Special Skills:
Digital savvy and competent in digital languages and social currency under China context
Job Requirements And Qualifications:
Minimum Education: University degree
Minimum Experience:6 years experience in a similar digital marketing role in house/ Agency
Preferred Experience:2 year above in house experience
