职位描述
This role provides continuous improvement leadership and expertise to the ASC organization for regionally-supported processes, as well as global technical and non-technical process improvement opportunities that impact the APAC region. This role will work initially on a project basis for improvement opportunities in Accounting and Transactional Processing areas, with an intention to move onto LOB accounting or Transactional Processing team to take on an Assistant Manager role.
The Assistant Manager, Continuous Improvement (CI) works closely with key partners in the APAC region, including Market CFOs and Controllers, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Finance Site Sustainment organizations, and Enterprise Continuous Improvement partners. This individual shall support CI Manager to drive and forge strategic partnerships with business leaders to strategize, define, measure, analyse, and implement process improvements; lead process mapping and re-engineering activities; develop and drive construction of process metrics; develop project authorization requests; champion projects; and promotes continuous improvement with internal and external operation leaders through guidance and education.
Responsibilities
?Development, planning, and implementation of strategic initiatives / special projects to drive productivity and value for TWDC/WDI/DWSS
?Provide consulting on challenges/risks/questions related to in-scope processes, policies, enhancements and reporting by directly partnering with Transaction Processing team, LOB or Market Finance teams and/or DWSS leadership
?Deliver quality solutions that provide desired business benefits and/or solve business problems within established timeline and budget
?Support the Manager in overseeing the team, ensuring all transactions and analysis are completed on time and accurately to support the quarterly financial close and reporting to the regional stakeholders
?Business partner to LOB Finance team ensuring the ASC maintains high customer service standards
?Support the APAC accounting and finance teams to identify opportunities for continued centralization of accounting processes to the ASC
?Review performance indicators and recommend actions to improve processes
?Help build and foster an environment where all team members and points of view are respected and valued
?Help build “One ASC” working environment with mutually beneficial working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners
Basic Qualifications
?Written and verbal English fluency
?A minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience in a large international organization with a minimum of 3 years experience in leading teams
?Experience translating (both technically and operationally) functional business needs into operational solutions
?Project management experience
?Experience working in a shared services environment
?Working knowledge of MS office suite
?SAP system knowledge
?Six Sigma or similar quality certification
?Experience with negotiating, mentoring, influencing, organizational, planning and partnership skills in a multicultural environment
?Ability to motivate and lead team to work together in a highly collaborative, efficient manner
?Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical subjects/audiences
?Demonstrated ability to manage on-time delivery of effective solutions
?Critical thinking and problem solving skills
?Decision-making in a fast paced environment
?Ability to prioritize based on organizational mission and values
?Strong understanding of compliance implications and controls impacting business areas
?Ability to multi-task and deploy resources efficiently
