JOB OBJECTIVES:


Provide technical support to market development in China from technical aspects including technical services, development of new products and applications, customer support - with focusing on CMN segments.





MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Support customers in China by providing technical service and training to enhance customers' knowledge in understanding & processing the polymers products. Geographical coverage: China only.


2. Support to provide technical training to the sales team to enhance the capability of the sales team (i.e. existing / new BASF products, competitors’ products & key technical knowledge).


3. Develop new applications of polyamides based on value and volume.


4. Work with other BUs to develop cross-BU projects on flexible film packaging (food and industrial), monofilament applications and other extrusion applications.


5. Support on testing and inspections for new development.


6. Collect and communicate downstream market trend by maintaining close contacts with downstream stakeholders.





REQUIREMENTS:





1. Education: Chemistry/ Material Engineering / Polymer Science degree or equivalent preferred.
