职位描述
The personal will join BASF Care Chemical Regional Marketing team and be based in Shanghai. He or She will work for the business development of SAP ( hygenie ).
The key responsibilities are ,
· Identify customer needs and improvement potential for BASF’s current offering
· Promote application of technical USP’s to support the implementation of sales strategies & sales objectives
· Drive customer orientation and foster innovation together with BASF technical service and R&D
Objectives:
Support Care Chemical Hygenie team target to significantly grow in Asia-Pacific by improving the alignment of BASF’s technical USP’s with customer requirements
Main Tasks:
· Understand and convey technical key selling arguments ('unique selling proposition' (USP)) of our products
· Identify gaps between customer needs and BASF products or competitors' products and differentiate BASF-products vs. competitors
· Transfer un-met customer needs into ideas for product improvement and feed into GBU's innovation process
· Actively support flawless product launches in line with Asian market needs as well as BASF expectations
· Improve market intelligence from technical perspective by identifying & assessing new products from competitors, market trends, upcoming needs from short-term & long-term perspective, etc.)
· Participate in technical conferences to share & to gather technical expertise
· Conduct seminars/workshops and training with customers
· Conduct technical customer dialogues, application dialogue and understand customer needs from technical perspective
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related discipline
Working Experience: Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in R&D, Technical Service, Technical Marketing or Sales
Other requirements: Fluency in English and Mandarin
Understanding of superabsorbent polymers, their manufacturing process and their contribution to performance in diapers
Understanding of the diaper manufacturing process at our customers
