Key Responsibilities
-Provide project management and leadership that results in process improvements, value to the executives and efficiencies for HP. Must be able to present quantifiable results.
-Lead the team as the liaison between the different HP IT service towers and organizations and bridging the gap in communication between their clients and IT services.
-Provide end user executive support for any technical issues including but not limited to the desktop, phones, mobile devices, network, email and applications.
-Work closely with all levels of IT to resolve issues very quickly.
-Identify, track, troubleshoot and diagnose ongoing issues; provide recommendations, communicate effectively and follow through on solutions.
-Identify and provide (when applicable) training for Executives and assistants.
-Where requested, setup, support and maintain end user devices for executives.
-Keep executive computers current with HP company standard hardware and software.
-Identify, diagnose, solve and/or track to resolution hardware and software problems.
-Provide end user engineering with support and input on testing/evaluating hardware and software as assigned.
-As needed, setup, consult, and support executive projects, meetings or events sponsored by executives, especially if it pertains to video and audio equipment.
Education and Experience Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
-Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical leadership skills.
-Strong experience with infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, hardware, data center, security, network, voice, end user and server / web related applications). Strong experience with business Information Technology (IT) applications (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship mgmt, HR, finance) . Strong experience in scripting and / or programming language.
-Strong experience with implementation, problem analysis and solutioning of infrastructure and business application environments. Foundational or expert knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Web technologies. Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Strong problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills.
-Good organizational and analytical skills.
-Possess creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self confidence.
-Influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
-4 years minimum experience supporting hardware and software of all current Microsoft operations systems (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
-Expert knowledge of Print Devices (LaserJet, Deskjet, Copiers, and All in Ones)
-Ability to troubleshoot and support mobility devices and technologies (IPhone, Android, and Windows Smartphones)
-Experience working with and administration of Windows AD domain accounts
-Expert knowledge in end user software including MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Antivirus, Backup, Encryption solutions, Authentication, Remote Access, Collaboration (Sharepoint and Office Communicator) services.
-Expert knowledge in office infrastructure technologies such as LAN, WAN, WiFi, VO-IP, cell and analog PBX based office phone systems
-Ability to work collaboratively on team projects and establish positive working relationships with the client and team members alike
-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, problem solve and work under minimal supervision
-Ability to problem solve under pressure
-Ability to prioritize workload
-Ability to manage escalations
-Significant attention to detail
