Enterprise Group - TS,Business Manager - China
Global Procurement (GP)
This position is responsible for the strategic relationship of Global Procurement with the TS Business in China.
The role is based in Beijing, China and responsible for engagement with both internal Technology Services (TS) customers and functions within GP. A core goal is to facilitate timely procurement support and delivery of Value, including cost savings, to the TS business and its clients.
The candidate for this role will have strong customer facing skills, be able to think creatively, operate strategically, influent both BU & GP people to drive change in the business and deliver on key performance targets.
The role aims to establish GP as a trusted business advisor to TS, to understand both BU and GP strategies and ensure alignment.
This is a great opportunity for someone able to operate as a self-starter, with minimal supervision, to really develop this role and create impact.
It also offers an excellent platform for personal and professional development given the varied role scope and Executive level engagement with the TS business.
A strong knowledge of Account or Business Management including Sales / Project or Program Management / Marketing and Operations would be an ideal background, and experience in Supply Chain or Procurement will be beneficial. Knowledge of EG and TS would be an advantage.
Role Description - the key deliverables in this role will be:
Align strategically with the TS Business to drive integrated procurement solutions, transformation and service delivery assurance across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, to fuel profitability and growth.
Develop a deep knowledge of TS to foster strategic relationships, to maximize the value GP provides to the organization, by aligning GP strategies with business operations.
Partner with the Business, operating as an extended member of their leadership teams, and build an understanding business priorities and translate their business requirements into procurement plans
Lead and/or participate in functional procurement teams and region program teams to develop or identify and implement substantial savings opportunities and interlock with internal stakeholders.
Lead and/or participate in strategies for risk mitigation, business continuity, compliance with procurement policy and processes, cost management and operations improvement.
Develop, implement and operate to SLAs with TS; revisit SLAs on a regular basis to ensure SLAs are effective and providing necessary metrics to identify areas of strength and improvement to TS.
Improve compliance to the GP Approved Supplier List (ASL) within TS by working with and educating TS and GP Global Category teams in selecting/optimizing suppliers to align with the TS business needs and portfolio.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor above degree with Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration etc.
Certificates
C.P.M./MCiPS, PMP, SCMP accreditations preferred
Professional Experience
8+ years’ experience in project management, or business administration, services procurement industry experience; procurement and supply chain experience would be a plus
Leadership skills and Competencies Required:
Solid communication skill with senior leaders
Able to influence senior stakeholder
Self-led style and ability to work on own initiative
Results oriented approach to executing work
Proven track record in project management
Creative and strategic thinking, able to initiate projects and take the lead
Mastery in English and local language.
Ethics & Compliance knowledge and understanding.
