PURPOSE OF POSITION岗位设置目的
To manage sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan for catering sales and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of the Hotel.
按年度市场销售计划,管理宴会销售活动,以达到/超过酒店销售战略所制订的预算。
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES主要职责与责任
· To book and assist with arrangements for weddings, social events, corporate meetings and site inspections.
预订和协助婚宴、社交活动、公司会议和现场查验的安排。
· Develop catering business leads for the Hotel on weekly basis.
每周为酒店开发宴会业务线索。
· Manage events from beginning to end, processing all the information pertaining to the booking to include but not limited to:
从头到尾负责宴会,处理所有与预订有关的信息,包括但不限于:
- Confirm electrical, internet, telecom, audio-visual and exhibit requirements.

- Obtain guarantees of food and beverage events for Banquets and kitchen.

· Prepare creative menu proposals with the Chef while always keeping in mind food cost, labor cost and kitchen facilities.
与厨师长一起开发具有创造性的菜单计划,同时留意食物成本、人工成本和厨房设备。
· Maintain complete knowledge of:

- All hotel features / services, hours of operation.
酒店所有的特色/服务,营业时间。
- Hotel function space, entertainment options, menus and floral decoration options.
酒店功能区域、娱乐项目、菜单和花饰项目。
- Hotel safety guidelines and evacuation plan.
酒店安全方针和疏散计划。
- Scheduled daily group activities.
排定的每日团体活动。
· Promote positive relations with guests and employees.
发展与顾客和员式的良好关系。
· Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.
妥善有礼地处理所有顾客的要求。
· Acknowledge all customers and handle guest complaints to their satisfaction.
认可并处理顾客投诉,直至其满意。
· Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using Raffles telephone etiquette.

· Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure.
按部门程序处理电话咨询。
· Develop professional relationships with key players in the designated catering Market segment to build business.
与指定宴会市场的主要单位发展业务的关系,建立业务往来。
· Liaise with banquet team to ensure correct set-up of function to meet guests needs.
与宴会组联络,以确保正确的功能设置,以满足客户需求。
· Arrange and conduct site inspections for potential guests.

· Maintain high level of knowledge of the competition's product.

· Maintain good relationships with counterparts at competing hotels; promote all Raffles Hotels whenever possible.

· Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and compliances of established guidelines and standards related to the hotel.

· To be aware of the hotel hygiene, food and fire safety control and security standards and procedures in handling complaints or emergency situation.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

· Join pre-con meeting.

· Do sales call if necessary.
