职位描述

Areas of Responsibility
? Develop and manage deep supplier relations with the assigned key/strategic suppliers to optimize commercial and operational performance. Resolve supplier contractual disputes and serve as liaison between internal users and supplier where high-level involvement is deemed necessary
? Liaison with operation engineering team, quality team and supply chain team ensuring sourcing product performance, quality and delivery meet upon agreed target.
? Be the Business Partner for R&D and marketing in China and the new product development teams to ensure that the demands on suppliers on a project to project basis
? Establish NDA and Supply Agreements with strategic and key suppliers
? Pro-actively search and identify new suppliers and products ensuring a supplier and product portfolio that meets market requirements
? Based on accumulated experience and received market demands and requirements, ensure that the sourcing team pro-actively suggest NPI’s to the sales and product marketing teams
? Conduct when required sourcing market research and analysis as a prerequisite to developing and implementing strategic and tactical activities
? Create, execute and track annual team KPI’s on a monthly basis, including annual cost saving budgets inline with set guidelines, if any
? Contribute to the cost down process by negotiating prices and terms with the suppliers in line with goals and directives
? Lead supplier evaluation activities and drive/execute actions required to ensure optimize supplier portfolio to maximize overall objectives/goals and minimize/eliminate disturbances
? Build, supervise and lead the tactical sourcing team in China, if any
? Collaborate with local matrix managers for team members located in other regions than your own if applicable
? Create, submit and execute teams cost budget in accordance with guidelines, if any
? Deliver monthly reports and data inline with directives
? Own supplier evaluation process

? Leadership needs to be inline with Company’s overall values and guidelines
? Leadership shall be suited to the situation ensuring all available resources with regards to knowledge, creativity, expertise and past experiences are used optimally
? To be successful in complex projects special emphasis shall be placed on forming a creative and positive environment so that all good ideas can surface and be fully utilized.

Authority
? Carry out the tasks and activities within the assigned area of responsibility and applicable budget frames as agreed upon with the Operation Director
? Approve new suppliers in accordance with set processes and best practices
? Request resources and investment in order to develop the team inline with guidelines
? Manage all cost within agreed budget.

Requisite Criteria
? Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with technical or engineering major preferred. Five to ten years of sourcing, purchasing, supply quality or engineering experience in multi-national manufacturing. Experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields.
? Proven track record of identifying, developing and negotiating high-level supply agreements with suppliers
? Strong formal and informal leadership skills with strategic ability through collaborative approach reach goals and priorities

? Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
? Strong command, influencing, and consensus building skills
? Confidence, energy and edge to excel in a fast pace unstructured environment
