This is a master level position to lead a world class development team to contribute to the SystemVue product. The responsibilities of this candidate include:
- Lead the formation of an Agile platform team to contribute to SystemVue platform that can work in conjunction with, as well as independently of, the US SystemVue team. The candidate must, therefore, have very strong software design skills.
- Significantly contribute to the development of SystemVue model libraries and applications. It is expected that this candidate have domain expertise and be able to lead development in at least one of the following areas: Communication Systems, Radar/EW, High Speed Digital Design, Baseband implementation.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow in areas where domain expertise is lacking.
- Work across divisions to apply SystemVue to solve complex problems and deliver value to Agilent. Proliferate the use of SystemVue within EMG and Agilent.
- Actively pursue new opportunities for innovation - identify opportunities to productize research innovations. Maintain current knowledge of industry, research, and relevant technology.


Qualifications:
- Proven background with extensive expertise in Object Oriented software design, particularly in C++. Experience with the Qt framework a plus.
- Electrical Engineering background with domain expertise in at least one are relevant to SystemVue listed above.
- Demonstrated ability to lead difficult technical projects and deliver results.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead, teach, and mentor others.
- Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies a plus.
- Very self-motivated with a desire to make a difference.
