职位描述
Purpose & Scope:
To manage supply of coal for RGC RBU. Working with operation to ensure all coal supply arrangements are fully optimised at plant level, and with GBUTonnage in terms of feedstock supply terms and conditions are fully understood and factored into commercial arrangements with customers. Perform risk management on the projects and manage and develop all key relationships with coal providers and policy makers across China.
Accountable for:
-Reviewing, setting up and managing all major energy supply arrangements and processes in RGC.
-Negotiating energy supply deals with electric utilities/power marketers/generators, ensuring that Linde gets excellent tariffs and terms of supply
-Conduct risks management between feedstock supply agreements, and commercial agreement with customers. Additionally, taking into plant operation and constraints into the risk analysis
-Ability to draft legal contract, sponsor note on specific projects that requires sign off
-Explore supply options, Improving reliability and quality of supply
-Explore outside the box feedstock supply schemes, ie., investing in coal option or become an aggregator to enhance Linde RGC competitiveness and ability to win gasification projects
-Establish close relationships with all coal suppliers, and setting up a process to pro-actively manage them
-Developing the relationships needed to get Linde to the table and partake in policy discussions with Government Authorities and Market Regulators
-Participating in trade bodies, lobby to get a competitive deal for the Gases Industry
-Work with Tonnage to ensure that energy supply arrangements are reflected in gas supply contracts to protect Linde's interests
-Work very closely with Operations staff in China to exploit tariff opportunities and improve the efficiency of coal consumption
-Ensure the business units have all the necessary skills, tools and processes to implement strategies, develop and support as necessary to build local capabilities
-Implement RBU global energy strategies in RGC, ensuring local buy-in and implementation at plant level
Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
-5-7 years with similar energy(coal) intensive company, consultant, coal marketer
-Intimate knowledge of coal industry, state and federal restructuring activities, cogeneration, market pricing and risk management
-Experience with energy trade organizations and state and federal regulatory agencies on electric issues and allied matters is desirable
-Finance, Business or Economics degree
-Exceptional interpersonal skills
-Exceptional negotiating skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Seasoned, culturally aware, confident traveller
