Account Manager - Consulting, Asia-Pacific

Main Purpose of the Role:
With a dedicated focus on consulting firms, the individual will develop a high performing research team and drive usage through building and managing relationships with existing clients, and generating new relationships with inactive offices and prospective clients in Asia-Pacific.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Existing clients:
- Serve as the first point of contact for consulting client users and accounts in Asia-Pacific
- Improve account penetration and increase usage by building a network of client users and centralised information services / research contacts
- Track and regularly report usage statistics
- Seek regular feedback from clients on products and performance
- Maintain updated an perspective on the competitive environment for each consulting client in Asia-Pacific
- Lead relationship optimisation meetings with client users
- Consult with client users on optimal research approaches to projects

New client development:

- Prospecting new clients and managing a pipeline of new accounts
- Meet with prospective clients together with other team members
- Negotiating commercial terms with clients
- Generating pipeline of leads and client referrals

Internal:
- Work closely with the China & APAC consulting Team Leaders to ensure high standard of execution across consulting requests
- Communicate client specific needs and priorities
- Troubleshoot client issues with project managers
- Continuously review and improve processes and the service provided to clients
