Mission
-The main mission is the translation of engineering and product know-how into environmental solution and product bussiness, to support gas cleaning equipment design and design calculations as well as maintaining the design in line with the latest design standards.
-Continuous product improvement will be required to support the Technology & Innovation team for Gas Cleaning solutions.

What are my responsibilities
-Analyzes solution requirements of the chinese market and competitors on portfolio level incl. technical requirements, builds up a deep understanding of the needs of gas cleaning for steel market (applications), derives a product portfolio based on fact-based analysis and proposes MT ECO TI management appropriate concepts.
-Take part in product definition process / review process for new worldwide product developments to make the solution successful in the Chinese market. Controls and coaches the product lifecycle process for Gas Cleaning for Region China.
-Analyzes preconditions of a multiple line (low-end) portfolio including market segment differentiation and product portfolio divergence, proposes related product line concepts and business models along the whole value chain in accordance with the worldwide MT strategies. Involved in strategic decision process for localized MT products.
-Analyzes innovation & technology trends in the Chinese market, derives a strategic roadmap of innovations in China market to contribute insights to the MT innovation and product roadmap.
-Communicates with central SLC functions, manages contacts with customers and other contacts etc., aligns and coordinates all activities with MT HQ department "Technology & Innovation".
-Support in-house engineering departments with implementation of any product improvements.
-Provide in-house training on new developed products
-Where applicable attend meetings with customers to promote new products. Provide marketing related materials to support product introduction.
-During project execution, Provide product integration documentation and user manuals.
-Progress reporting to line manager

What do I need to qualify for this job
-Expected BsC or Masters Degree in engineering,
-Experiences in Gas Cleaning processes and equipments,
-Previous Job position in Product Management, research or other technical departments.
-Knowledge in Methodologies, Technologies as well as professional working skills are welcome.
-Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and well developed social skill
-Results orientated, Problem solver. Flexible and able to cope with fast changing environment
-Positive and focused attitude to achieve targets in an effective manner
-Experience in product development & integration
-Able to address , report to and inform management and colleagues at all levels within the organization as well as customers outside the work location
