Introduction:
-From our CL Team, Siemens is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Counsel to support SFLL and SFS business.
Mission of Function:
To contribute to the business goals of Siemens and to protect the Company’s reputation for integrity by
- providing business oriented legal advice and counseling within assigned area

Dimensions of Function:
- Responsibility for various legal matters with medium complexity
- Specific tasks assigned
- Financial impact low or medium (risk / opportunities)

Internal:
- Other legal counsels, especially within same BU/BS and Division, Contract Management and Specialists
- Business Partner
- Compliance
- Other Corporate functions
External:
- Outside counsel
- Technical experts
- Government officials and regulatory authorities at working level
- Customers / suppliers / external business partners and their internal and external counsels
- Legal associations
- Arbitrators and judges

What are my responsibilities?
- Advise business partner on all legal aspects related to (i) leasing and equipment finance, (ii) other matters of finance law;
- Review and draft documentation for loan and lease business (e.g. direct leases, assign-and-lease back structures) and other financial products;
- Advise on regulatory matters that have an impact on the set-up or business of the business partner;
- Manage debt recovery in case of debtor defaults (including legal actions);
- Ensure that business and set-up of business partner is compliant with all laws and regulations.
- Manage external law firms.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Post Qualification Experience of at least 3-5 years;
- In-depth knowledge of, and significant work experience dealing with, all relevant laws and regulations;
- Good drafting skills
- Proficiency in English
- Significant experience in managing arbitration and litigation cases

Our Legal Team is based in Beijing and Shanghai, and is made up of 27 lawyers and supporting staff. Each lawyer acts as a primary contact for Certain Business Partners.
