Reporting to the VP Corporate Facility, you will supervise 10 project managers in the Global Project Management Office to govern, track and prioritize projects in close communication with CM/Operations. By applying corporate values, you will execute building projects within timeline and standards. As head of the corporate facility project management, you will play a key leadership and global role to oversee the creation of the future production sites around the world.
You will manage project managers across different locations to secure strong team collaboration and alignment of different stake holders, minimizing projects risks and maximizing efficiency. And you will be the one to allocate project managers to strategic projects base on priorities.
In addition, you will pay an important role in developing the corporate facility project model and standards, and will take the lead on initiatives to secure alignment of practices across the organization, through development of competencies across operations and setting up the right strategic direction.
Requirements
To qualify for the position, you should have a relevant degree in Engineering or Science and at least 8 years of project management experience. To be specific, you should have extensive experience managing high complex projects, preferably using the Stage Gate Model philosophy. Hands-on experience from large scales construction sites and expatriate experience would be an advantage.
People management ad distance management experience is required and you should speak and write very high standard of English.
On the soft side, you should be independent with an international mind-set enabling you to lead across cultures and you should have excellent management skills to drive and motive the team. And you should be aggressive in driving for continuous improvement.
