Job Responsibilities:

·Development of client relationships, identification of new project opportunities, proposal preparation, presentation preparation & delivery and conversion of opportunities into orders

·Full responsibility for successful delivery of assigned projects & studies within the industrial sector including, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, project management, government approvals, design management, procurement & construction management

·Management of a large project(s) or a portfolio of small / medium size projects

·Management of project team (s)

·Management of design and construction to international HSE standards

·Project control, including change control, planning & cost control

·Selection of design institutes and supervision of detail design packages

·Construction management of sub-contractors including schedule, health & safety, and quality

·Liaison with clients, project team, suppliers (domestic & foreign) & subcontractors

Requirements:

·Chinese citizen

·Bachelor degree in an relevant engineering discipline

·At least 15 years working experience, including 10 years in project management roles & 5 years within a design institute in an engineering role

·Project experience within the pharmaceutical sector, including clean rooms, laboratories, clean utilities, HVAC, cGMP and validation

·Experience in the chemical & or food processing industries an advantage

·Understanding of EPCM project process including EIA & OSHA studies, government approvals & HSE management.

·Particular strengths in business development, contract negotiation, project management, engineering management, project controls and HSE management

·In depth understanding of international design & construction health & safety standards

·Computer skills: Microsoft packages etc. (including Microsoft Project)

·Language skills: fluent English & Mandarin Chinese, both in written & verbal
