职位描述
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Executive Director Creative or Design Director (as appropriate), the Junior Designer role is focused on developing the necessary skill sets to become a successful Designer across a variety of design disciplines and to successfully assist the Creative team in the delivery of innovative, insightful and value added solutions to client branding problems through design.
· Minimum 1 – 2 years experience in a similar type role, with an understanding of design methodologies, user-experience / interface design, information design and corporate identity / branding.
Job responsibilities:
Technical
Assist in the development of concept / design systems in terms of all branding expressions, both static and active, where applicable.
Participate in critiques and meetings to explain and substantiate the design direction.
Assist in information gathering for use internally as well as for use in client deliverables.
Attend and observe client presentations and work sessions.
Help to develop design specifications and system documentation.
Identify relevant 3rd party suppliers, and start to develop a working relationship when relevant to client scope of work.
Assist in conducting, organizing and analyzing of graphic materials for use in visual audits.
Start to form opinions on the clients branding platform; attributes, positioning, taglines etc.
Begin to develop an understanding of our Clients business.
Assist in the development of logical, clear decks and presentations, and assist in the development of Client presentations.
Operational
Work efficiently and effectively with internal project team staff.
Continually communicate project progress to the Creative lead on relevant Client project’s.
Maintain awareness of relevant advances in our industry and share with the team as appropriate.
Start to develop a solid understanding of the FB offering and disciplines.
Help to drive the development and creation of case studies.
Has a good understanding of the client scope of work, and is able to recognise and flag potential problems / obstacles, then start to formulate solutions to overcome.
Anticipates Creative team needs, and takes steps to fulfill those needs when appropriate
Work with and assist other members of the Creative Team, in their delivery of business improvement projects.
