Key Objectives:
- With the growth of the business of BMW Motorrad in China, the position is set to strengthen the motorcycle aftersales function in service field, including technical support, warranty, technical training and projects. The goal of this position is to ensure that aftersales function has the suitable capacity and capability to provide service operation support to the dealer network timely and professinally, and to implement imprvement projects and measures to better suppor the future growth needs.
Major Responsibilities:
- Give first level technical support to dealers in China. Investigate, analyze and report technical and product quality issues. Communicate with dealers and central technical team on service topics.
- Monitor customer complaint cases and handle serious technical complaints with aftersales manager. Onsite evaluation when necessary.
- Work with internal warranty processors to provide necessary support and handle special warranty cases. Conduct warranty review and audit with warranty auditors and aftersales manager;
- Monitor technical campaign implementation and completion status of dealers and give timely guidance and supervision;
- Organize and support technical and service trainings. Be able to deliver basic trainings gradually after getting trained.
- Support aftersales manager in technical preparation and readiness check of new dealers during new dealer development process;
- Support aftersales manager to plan and implement service projects, set up and improve service processes, policies and standards.
- Advise and assit the dealer organisation on warranty related topics, propose relative trainings when necessary, establish and follow up warranty metric reports & KPIs
Main contact for any operational topics related with customer breakdown assistance measures (e.g. Mobile Service, Roadside assistance, Service Card, etc.) between the dealer organisation and the vendors of these services.
- Provide support to the AS Manager on request basis.
- Other tasks assigned by aftersales manager.
Education / Degree:
- Bachelor degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge / Skills / Competences:
- Good vehicle technical knowledge (electrics and power train). BMW products knowledge and motorcycle knowledge are bonus.
- Knowledge/experience of BMW diagnostic and processes and tools is preferred.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software and common office IT skills.
- A clear mind with logical thinking and analytical skills.
- Willing to learn and grow with good learning skills;
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese.
- Spoken and written English must be above acceptable level;
- Focus on long run goal and self-motivated;
- Stable and accountable.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in technical support or technical training field in automobile industry.
- BMW work experience is a plus
