Job description
The Software Sales Leader (SCL) position leads and supervises brand sales and vendor sales resources within the a single selected Industry Client. The members of the sales team increase revenue and customer satisfaction by developing qualified opportunities, working with partners as they close those opportunities, and following-up with the customer to ensure deployment.

Industry Client at IBM GCG meaning one of 14 top Industry clients in GCG. SCL manages the relationship with the selected Industry client, works to understand and document their business objectives, and then in conjunction with qualified Partners, offer IBM SW solutions that exceed customer expectations.

The SCL role is responsible for ensuring that have himself/herself and team that:
creates pipeline and qualifies opportunities
integrates partner-generated opportunities and manages a single territory pipeline
meets both revenue goals and customer satisfaction metrics
works with marketing resources and partner organizations to close business.
creates practical account plans and territory plans.
produces accurate business forecasts

Required Skill:
Minimum 5 years’ experience of direct and indirect SW selling with proven results
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
Demonstrated understanding of solution selling techniques and selling software solutions to business customers
Ability to motivate, encourage and coach others to develop strong relationship-building and sales skills
Demonstrated ability to act as a virtual leader
Solid knowledge of the business, customers, partners, strategy and how they work together
Demonstrated communication skills including clear and concise verbal and written business communication in both mandarin and English
Proficiency at building and understanding performance reports and conviction to take corrective action within the parameters of driving the customer experience and IBM’s revenue
Able to inspire and foster the right behaviors in others through leading by example
Self-motivation to drive personal and team performance to achieve targets and strive for continuous improvement
Demonstrated cross group collaboration and orchestration abilities
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
High commitment to business and personal integrity and professionalism
Able to use IBM applications and Sales-connect systems.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in Local Experience
English: Fluent
Chinese simplified: Fluent
