The company
The company is European originated manufacturer to supply ultra-light-weight, ecological and
highly customised metal parts with flexible forming technologies mainly for automotive
industries. The company has more than hundred year history and now has offices and factories
in more than 20 countries worldwide, and many of the factories are located in China. The Asia-
Pacific centre is now established in Shanghai, China, and exploring more business opportunities
in their aluminium extrusion product lines.
Your mission and responsibilities:
You will be at CoC (Centre of Competence) to lead aluminium projects in China and global. You
will regularly report to the head of product group structures APAC located in China.
The key tasks are:
To lead aluminium projects with production team and support/improve program
management for better customer satisfactions
To identify a new project opportunity, to support sales to create competitive quotations
and manage pricing for successful sales closing
To assign resources to build, supervise and train the team
To keep good communication within the team to support project management in APAC
and product group for global
To implement and maintain standard processes and milestones with milestone system
Your profile
You shall have good level of commands of English in spoken and written for daily operation, be
technically very strong in aluminium extrusion, and have sufficient experiences co-working with
the automotive companies. You shall have minimum 10 years working experiences on
aluminium material engineering, project management skills with workflow/milestone tools and
team management abilities. Your crash management experiences will strongly be a plus. You can
co-work with various employees of sales, sales engineering, design and development teams
both in China and overseas. You are expected to make business trips sometimes.
