Based in Shanghai with regional exposure, supported by BD Associate

Founded over 16 years ago in Singapore, we now employ c.170 + people in nine offices in Asia Pacific: Bangkok, Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore & Sydney. The Candidate
You will have excellent communication skills including both written and oral English (Mandarin desirable), be a strong and influential negotiator, highly driven revenue generator, confident relationship/stakeholder manager, professional and socialnetworker, engaging and exciting presenter,operate effectively and efficiently in a fast paced/high pressured but fun environment, work on own initiative, operate collaboratively and as part of a team, adopt a hand's on approach, has a "can do attitude", be both responsive and proactive and have real passion and drive for what you do!
Your Duties & Responsibilities;
· Maintain existing & develop new relationships with local Corporate Real Estate Agents, Project Managers, Property Developers and Building Managers.
· Track down and create leads through cold calling, face to face visits and smart networking.
· Respond to and follow up all leads and sales enquires via email, telephone and face to face visits
· Take the lead role in responding to the RFP, coordinating design & PM contributions through to sign off of final draft to be submitted to the client.
· Develop robust business developmentstrategies that are aligned with the goals of the business
· Maintain and develop existing clients through regular correspondence, professional and social interaction.
· Monitor and report on activities of target clients, competitors and general market intelligence.
· Liaise and attend meetings with regional BDM's as necessary to aid the business and organizational development on a regional basis.
Your Experience;
·Candidates with prior experience of Business Development within Interior Design, Architecture or Construction environments move to the front of the queue!
·Credible communicator with the ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
·Highly effective relationship manager with the ability to influence and persuade key decision makers for a mutually beneficial"win win" outcome.
·Previous experience of selling and presenting to senior stakeholders from MNC's.
·Strong track record of tangible success as a Business Development Manager.
·Can adopt a flexible approach to your role in order to be successful while meeting the needs of the business.
·Experience of working an autonomous environment, capable of on the spot decisions, hands on problem solving,
with the ability to generate Ideas and solutions
·Portray a professional image fitting of an international design company and of our corporate clients.
