An experienced tester Senior Analyst is needed to build a mission critical custom SW testing solution. The Tester Senior Analyst will own and account for all aspects of Testing including refining of the test strategy and approach, planning, estimating, process initiation, artifact review, artifact decomposition, test case review and defect tracking/resolution.

The tester Senior Analyst must gain a good understanding of the customer business needs for which he can count on the support of the team leads within the project team. The candidate has the ability to function within the framework of an existing Test Methodology as well as to coach and mentor other Test Staff as well as non-Test Staff regarding Test Methodology and Best Practices.

Specific expectations towards the candidate include:

• Increase overall Team Productivity
• Drive Test Execution on Avanade and Customer side
• Clarify Test process towards customer stakeholders
• Help to define reporting on Test Preparation and Execution
• Manage reporting on Test Preparation and Execution
• Strong interaction with the PM team (Delivery Lead(s) and Solution Architect) and the customer

Qualifications:

• Have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Higher relevant education preferred.
• Must have a proven record of delivering SW testing technical solutions 5+ years of software Test experience covering all aspects of the Mobile Phone SW testing.
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
• The candidate should have had prior experience in working in a multi-cultural environment with proven experience in project delivery along with experience in working with multi-sites teams.
• Having a MCSD/MCSE//MCAD/PMP certification is a plus.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Phone platform and Phone SW knowledge
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle & Software Test Life Cycle
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and understanding of repeatable processes
• Knowledge in Non-Functional Testing Concepts & Tools
• Functional and Performance Automation skills a plus specifically Microsoft and Mercury Automation Tools
• Partial Development Experience on Microsoft Platform preferable.
• Good to have - understanding of Build / Packaging, Virtualization kind of basic concepts
• Some technical development background, focus on analysis and ability to understand business and technical artifacts.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in a large team environment
• Deliver engagements as a test lead, individual contributor and technical subject matter
• Expert for large complex engagements.
• Expertise in Test Automation tools & frame works
