Job Overview:
We require a high calibre engineer with relevant experience to carry out design appraisal of the various types of containers and associated accessories.

* Design Appraisal of various types of containers and their associated accessories to applicable standards such as standards such as EN 12079, DNV 2.7-1, IMDG, ADR, RID, US-DoT, CSC, ISO, TIR, UIC, etc., or regulations including EC Directives using first principle & advanced calculation methods. | |||
Job Requirements: | |||
* Bachelor or Master degree in Structural/mechanical engineering, with 5~7 years experience of container design or design appraisal. * Knowledge of structural analysis methods and techniques like FE Analysis will be an added advantage. * Good Decision Making skills and Analysing & Problem Solving skills | |||
We require a high calibre engineer with relevant experience to carry out design appraisal of the various types of containers.
The candidate will be expected to carry out design appraisal by performing independent calculations for containers of various types, preferably tank containers and / or offshore containers to various National and International Codes and will also provide technical support to clients and surveyors regarding containers, typically from design point of view.
* Design Appraisal of offshore and / or Tank containers to various standards such as standards such as EN 12079 and DNV 2.7-1, IMDG, ADR, RID, US-DoT, CSC, ISO, TIR, UIC, etc., or regulations using first principle & advanced calculation methods.
* To provide an advisory service to clients and surveyors/ inspectors for containers
* To liaise directly with clients and other offices on matters relating to container design, inspection and testing.
* To review prototype testing reports.
* A good understanding of container design. Knowledge of structural analysis methods and techniques will be an added advantage.
* Bachelor degree in Structural/mechanical engineering, with 5~7 years experience of container design or design appraisal.
* Proficient in using packages for analysis of structures
* Good written and oral communication and IT skills
* Good interpersonal skills
