Position Summary:
Gomez, the Web performance division of Compuware, is seeking a number of Senior QA Analyst to help testing the on-demand Gomez platform. The individual will have the opportunity to work with the brilliant engineers in United State, China, and other locations, focusing on projects that have global influence.
You will work with the testing and development team to investigate issues and track defects. You need to design, document and execute test cases in an environment where requirements change at random during the product life-cycle. You are also responsible for creating test plans, setting up test environments, developing automated tests, executing and maintaining automated test suites, and analyses the results. You will work closely with other teams involved in the development cycle. You will also maintain a positive relationship that demands respect for quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure quality of assigned product/project quality by:
Analyze product/project requirements
Analyze product/project technical design
Implement QA test cases
Setup necessary QA infrastructure
Log and communicate product/project defects
Report quality status of assigned product/project
Handle customer cases escalated by support
Other ad hoc quality work
Develop some tools to facilitate the testing and improve the productivity

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in software QA with focus on testing web applications/system or backend services.
Proficient test planning and test case writing and designing.
Proficient Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Programming.
Programming skills using Python, C#, JavaScript, ASP are highly desired.
Prior experience of Micro Focus SilkTest, SilkCentral, JIRA, etc.
Strong knowledge of internet and web technologies, familiar with HTTP protocol, HTML DOM, CSS, XML, Web Services, etc.
Prior experience on SOAPUI, Wireshark, Httpwatch, Httpfox, HttpAnalyzer, or Fiddler is a good plus.
Strong understanding of all aspects of the QA role, and all of application testing. Experience with Agile process is a good plus.
Good spoken English is desired.
A team player with excellent communication skills and flexible to work with counterparts in the US and other countries.
MUST be a self motivated, energetic individual who takes pride and ownership in their work.
Ability to adjust and excel in a fast-paced collaborative environment and meet aggressive deadlines
Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
