Essential Responsibilities:
Ø Commercialized support of embedded Linux development, customization and optimization based on Freescale’s microprocessors.
Ø Independently resolve the customer’s issue and involve customer’s project development.
Ø Linux BSP and device driver development and debugging/problem solving at the lowest layers of the system.
Ø Linux kernel/application performance issues investigation and fixing.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ø Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Ø Minimum of 3-6 years of embedded systems programming using Linux or VxWorks operating systems
Ø Experience in CPU architecture: powerpc or ARM
Ø Experience in the Linux porting/customization/optimization.
Ø Experience in Linux kernel/driver development or porting/customization/optimization.
Ø Excellent debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ø Familiar with the Linux system programming
Ø Familiar with networking technologies
Ø Be familiar with any of the following: C/C++, X86/powerpc assembly language, Linux & shell, perl or python
Ø Excellent global communication skill in English and Chinese
Ø Quick learning skill.
Ø Preferred Qualifications:
§ Experience in virtual machine, KVM/LXC etc.
§ Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
§ Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
§ Global project experience
