LOCATION: Hangzhou
INDUSTRY: Transmissions JV
REPORT TO: General Manager (Italian)
EDUCATION: MSc degree, in Mechanic Majors (MBA is recommended)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least a 10 years experience in a similar position in International Companies, Experience in automotive Transmission companies.
Position Summary
To provide strong leadership of a team of engineers, who are responsible for the design、platform、test and approval of new& current transmission platforms for the automotive market.
Duties:
Act as the engineering leader in the Automotive market
Establish the technology strategic plan
Building relevant engineering competence and capacity to support local and worldwide demand.
Lead the engineering team to practice the activities: design, test, and analyze ect.
Establish robust engineering standard work and test procedures for transmission engineering
Ensure consistent practices across all elements of Technical Projects leadership
Support the use of functional excellence practices
Support the development of transmission product plans and manage the resources to implement it.
Supervise the new project operation and control the progress、quality and cost
Audit the formatted technology engineering、standards and production data
Participate in trial-producing、technology contract and suppliers audit
Organize the advance quality planning and constantly improve quality according to technology engineering management
Professional Skills:
Deep knowledge of design and development of mechanical and automotive components.
Deep knowledge of strategic and technology planning
Deep knowledge of managing large, complex engineering design projects
Deep knowledge of ISO9001/QS9000 / TS16949
Know well about other functions: purchasing, manufacturing, quality
Good Analytical skills and problem solving skills
Good manager of resources and project planning skills
Good technical judgement
Good knowledge of cost control
