Description
· Join a world-class R&D engineering team developing best-in-class highly integrated optical components for the next-generation optical networks.

· Primary responsibility is software development for automatic control of test and alignment systems for integrated optical components.

· Develop software code for ultra high precision motor driven alignment systems integrated with optical test equipment such as tunable laser, power meter, optical switch and variable attenuator, etc.

· Develop software codes for automatic test system for optical components in lab and manufacturing environment.

· Also use knowledge of statistics to implement real time data analysis tools for engineering and operator analysis.

· Regular communication and travel to overseas JDSU R&D teams in English.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or industrial automation.

· Expert in VB, C/C++ and .Net programming,

· Familiar with GPIB, Ethernet, USB, RS232 and I2C communication

· 5+ years’ experience in complex, high precision machine automation.
· Be innovative, rigorous, proactive and enthusiastic candidate for this position.

· Must be able to work in English.
