Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the service delivery & continuous operations of the Network and Internet infrastructure, in compliance with both internal and customers policies (both security & controls).

- Planning and implementation of the security infrastructure for the common data centre network and the customer specific implementations

- Work within a team support engineers & vendors/business partners to resolve network-related problems, identify root-causes for problems and implementing remedial solutions, whenever required.

- Fulfill the day-to-day Move-Add-Change requests for the networks & network services.

- Very hands-on & technically sound and able to work independently to fulfill these network-related changes.

- Participate as a project team member to both internal and customer projects, providing network-related inputs and co-ordinates network changes in relation to the project.

- Review and update Technical Documents, Standard Operating Procedures to ensure effective operations for the network environment/services.

Requirements:

- Minimum 7 years of working experience in implementing, operating and managing Network, Internet & Intranet (in a multinational company preferably).

- Excellent working knowledge of Cisco Inter-networking Solutions, Juniper l & Checkpoint Firewall Solution, TCP/IP networking...

- Experience on various Network Management platforms (e.g. IBM Netview, MRTG, Cisco Works, Nethealth, Netscout, HP OpenView, CiscoWorks, Concord Network Health, Distributed Sniffer product & Packeteer )

- Possess technical certification (e.g. CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, etc)

- Must have experience in implementing, managing & maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Networks in Asia Pacific region & cross-regional network.

- Must have experience working with network security relating to the Internet, Intrusion Detection, UNIX, DNS, firewall, content engines and proxy technologies, LDAP and other directory services, and web technologies

- Knowledge of the Operating Systems platforms(Windows W2K3 or Server 2008/Linux SUSE and/or RedHat)

- Willingness to work shifts
