Job Summary:


The Service Delivery Site Coordinator (Coord) is part of a global support team that provides local business hour support to Cameron. Service Delivery works directly with our internal customers (Cameron employees and contractors) to provide desktop support both locally and remotely. The Coord is responsible for the daily tasks needed to provide local support to their designated sites. The Coord is responsible for both the ongoing maintenance of the existing IT environment, proactively determining site needs, and all projects that affect the IT environment. Some sites may require support in non-traditional IT areas. Daily activities are focused on resolving customer incidents, within their scope and within SLA's, while observing and reinforcing Cameron IT policies and standards. This position will report to the Service Delivery Manager for APME as part of Corporate IT Infrastructure. This position will be responsible for traditional desktop technical support -PC's, peripherals, PDA's, mobile devices, networked printers, standard office productivity applications, Cameron-specific applications, user ID administration, equipment deployments, local servers, local network appliances, and asset/inventory management. Additional duties, projects, or IT initiatives may also require assistance from the Tech


Responsibility:


  1. Work directly with the business managers at designated sites to define and support business' IT needs
  2. Prioritize on-site business needs within the available support model, escalating issues/needs when appropriate
  3. Manage all IT activities for designated sites, including daily support, pc lifecycle management, application support, network support, server (if onsite) support, and customer experience
  4. Use the current ticketing system (Service-Now) to manage incoming customer needs
  5. Navigate the Knowledge Base for IT solutions and company procedures
  6. Provide superior customer service including a focus on professionalism, courtesy, and attitude
  7. Work independently in resolving customer needs, being concerned with work pace and ongoing responsibilities
  8. Work as part of a team with Service Delivery initiatives, as support to teammates, and understanding the Service Delivery role within the Cameron IT Department
  9. Improve individual value to both the Service Delivery team and the IT Department by maintaining current support skills in areas specific to the Cameron environment
  10. Reinforce I.T. policies.

Requirement:


  1. Customer service skills, willingness to address and diffuse difficult/sensitive situations involving support
  2. 4+ years on desktop support team (preferably on a team of 6+, with 3000+ customers) supporting
  3. -MS Windows environment
  4. MS Office support
  5. Active Directory
  6. Network connectivity
  7. Remote connectivity
  8. Desktop hardware issues
  9. Printer queues
  10. PDA / Mobile device support
  11. Experience with an enterprise level ticketing system
  12. Experience with a remote desktop support solution
  13. Minor server admin experience (remote management, reboots, rack management)
  14. Minor networking experience (cabling, patching, network issue diagnostic skills)
  15. Travel is required, safe and reliable personal transportation is required
  16. Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Preferred Skills:

  1. 1+ years in a lead/manager role, responsible for desktop support and customer service solutions;
  2. Intermediate networking experience (LAN, MAN, WLAN skills, remote management, deployment);
  3. Familiarity with OSHA/VPP procedures;
  4. Experience working in both office and manufacturing facilities.
