Functional Description
Position Purpose
Drive for the successful result for D&E development projects;
Continue to improve the development process;
Contribute to strategic organizational change;

Major Tasks

Project Management
? Project Execution from DP1 to DP7 according to PDP process and VM.
? Defining and requesting deliverables from all relevant functions in the value chain.
? Correct timing and alignment of activities among all the functions
? Risk management
? Conceptualize, develop, test and verify the product
? Meeting all relevant development documentation
? Technical requirements are met
? The product meets the required quality level
? Set relevant objectives and track the progress
? Operate within specific project tolerances
? Tailoring the process (XPI)

Leadership
o An agile and differentiated use of the PDP and related processes
o Project management of the project development teams
o Leading the D&E development chain (D&E, internal/external partners, relevant sites)
o Timely and correct deliverables from the various technical teams
o Communicate tech status, risks and progress according to the project communication plan
o Coordinate with stakeholders regarding outstanding issues
o Cooperating and coordination with NBI and NPI
o Advise the GPDM of any deviations from the plan and recommend corrective actions

Other
o In project where no GPDM is appointed the NDI project manager must play that role as well
o Establish and operate within cost and investment budget
o Maintain updated overview of cost and investment in the projects
o Quarterly update of budget according to budget process
o Assist Dept Head to coach and develop PE/SPE (for PM) & other project managers (for Sr/Chief PM) and promote project management & Development process and best practice to other functions/Organization.

Required Qualifications
Project Manager
? Bachelor or Master degree in Electric/Software Engineering
? Preferably a diploma/course in Project Management and/or courses in Business administration – or alike, for Business understanding.
? 5 years’ engineering experience in control related product design, manufacturing methodology, testing, etc.
? 3 years’ experience in managing New Product Development projects from an international company.
