Day to Day Responsibilities:

? Develops SME knowledge of material, process and equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering.

? Provides general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of leading projects to get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place.

? Designs and/or specifies new equipment or modifies existing equipment to continuously improve process performance. Coordinates installation, debugging and initial operation of new equipment and systems.

? Provides disciplined project leadership across multiple stages of innovation for new product, process, cost reduction and capacity improvement initiatives.

? Recommends and implements permanent solutions to long term performance issues, and improves existing and new technologies and processes.

? Develops and leads some areas of the manufacturing and/or technical roadmap. Documents material, process and/or equipment to protect and contribute to

? Proficient in use of statistical data analysis and DOE in process problem solving and process/product improvement.

? Identifies, justifies, and implements cost reduction, capacity enhancement, capital equipment and other improvement initiatives.

? Introduces new technologies.

? Meets all Environmental, Safety and Health requirements.

Education & Experience

? Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in technical field. Polymer / Plastics Engineering formal education is considered a plus.

? 10 or more years in polymer processing or equivalent.

? Process Equipment automation integration experience.

Required Skills

? Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences. 5 or more years of manufacturing experience or equivalent(may run concurrent with experience detailed above) (Ideal candidate would have experience with custom molding facility)

? Working knowledge of mold design and construction

? Extensive experience in the operation of injection molding equipment & plastics processing

? Familiarity with plastic part assembly processes

? Knowledge of process control systems

? DOE techniques and data analysis.

？Desired Skills

? Working knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks) a plus

? Coaching and developing junior engineers/technicians

? Project and/or manufacturing financial management knowledge

? Process technology transfer experience.
