-SLC CT WTI Software System Engineer (Wuxi)/ 西门子（中国）有限公司 中国研究院 软件系统工程师（无锡）
-For our Corporate Technology in Wuxi, we are looking for a Software System Engineer.
-As indispensable part of Siemens Corporate Technology global innovation network, Siemens Corporate Technology China (CT China) was established in 1998 and started significant expansion in 2004 with the mission to develop unique innovations for Siemens business in China and worldwide.
-Siemens Wuxi Innovation Center is one of the innovation hubs of Siemens Corporate Technology. The center is aiming to drive innovations for complete green mobility, smart city infrastructure and industrial automation together with local technology partners and end customers.

What are my responsibilities?
-Responsible for system integration and software engineering of computer, communication, automation and control software for industrial applications;
-Key player role in software design, development and engineering; internal contact: BU expert and R&D team in office as well as on-site; external contact: specialists of client, and equipment vendors
-Integration specification of computer, communication and control software for logistic automation applications including joint system testing and commissioning;
-Consultancy to BU to find optimal solutions to questions related to integration;

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Competencies: Architecture of Server; cluster; computer, communication and control network system; Middleware, interface, platform; Oracle database, Windows/Unix OS; Software and application development; Industrial automation; Logistics automation
Essential: at least four years experience with software engineering and system integration, preferably in industrial automation system, logistics process automation or system integration;; Comprehensive knowledge and experience with product and solution development in the area of control and automation; Experience with English as working language preferred
Others:
-Master degree or above, computer/electrical engineering/automation engineer or other related majors
-Familiar with Windows or Linux OS architecture
-Familiar with at least any one of major database system, e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
-Development experience on embedded OS, such like WinCC, Android. Hardware experiences are preferred
-Expert in at least one of major programming languages, e.g. C/C++, .NET, Java
-Good communication skills, team player in the cooperation of multiple teams
-Passionate on technology development.
-Experience of research projects is preferred.
-Read English documents fluently.
