We are recruiting a Financial Project controller, based in Beijing, reporting to Tender and Project Control Manager


Job Description - Project Controller

· Ensure the necessary conditions for achievement of the Project's financial targets
· Be the economic and financial advisor to the Project Manager
· Prepare, along with the PM, the periodic Project Reviews, including the Project Cost Monitoring and provide all the relevant financial analysis
· Control the project results through close involvement with the Project Manager and ensure full use of the risk and opportunities management tool
· Assure customer invoicing is done as soon as possible and play an active role in achieving payment from customer in the due time. Process supplier invoices.
· Respect of Transport Project processes and tools
· Specially follow-up the implementation of cash improvement actions and promote the cash culture in the project
· Control the budget of the project and manage the allocation process of Work Packages
· Review the Contract Database data and its compliance with last SPR's decisions
· Participate in the project Steering Committee, Risk analysis meetings and all decision-making concerning financial or contractual aspects of the project
· Challenge the Estimate To Complete in order to maximize the project margin

Qualifications

· Very good command of English (spoken & written) and ideally other ALSTOM domestic languages
