ECS R&D Execution will provide world class level expertise and capabilities in AQCS technologies using an innovative mindset and efficient project execution

A Research Engineer in R&D Execution deals with all ECS technologies such as dry and wet adsorption, absorption, regeneration, catalytic processes, process control and optimization, electrostatic precipitation, fabric filtration, etc.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide R&D Execution with discipline competence in the area(s) of expertise; e.g. process, mechanical, physics/fluid dynamics, pilot or I&C
Communicate technical results and other deliverables of projects, e.g. design updates, new tools and guidelines
Follow technical advancements in the area of expertise within Alstom and outside parties, e.g. research centres, universities, competitors and suppliers, e.g. by attending conferences, reading papers etc. and incorporate useful advancements into projects and new product development
Support the business with expertise for commercial projects
Ensuring compliance with corporate, sector and business directives and EHS standards

QUALIFICATIONS

We think that the following is good description of your personal skills and experience:

Master of Science in Engineering or Science is required, Ph D degree is a plus
Successful experience in product/technology development
Successful experience in engineering or R&D producing predictable results on time and budget
Ability to interact with other disciplines and technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the power industry, AQCS or a related industry is an advantage, especially in the field of wet-dry flue gas desulphurisation and process simulation, automation and control.
Fluent English in both written and spoken.
