Purpose of the Job:

Maximize the value of external indirect spend of categories of indirect goods and service for ALSTOM in the Country. Ensure their on time delivery with the expected level of quality. Support the simplification of their procurement. Contribute to the success of initiatives launched by Global Indirect Sourcing organization and their implementation in the Country. Manage the Country Indirect Sourcing team to ensure the highest level of purchasing excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Build a team of purchasing professionals with the ability to bring undisputed value to all stakeholders needing external indirect goods and services
• Manage directly Country Indirect Sourcing team in order to ensure consistency and effectiveness of sourcing, optimize costs and achieve business goals;
• Define, set up and follow up the actions plans for indirect purchases managed at Country level;
• Define a strategy for indirect sourcing in the Country ;
• Design and offer a Service Level Agreement to all sites with ambitious objectives in terms of cost reduction, quality of service and responsiveness in line with the objectives of Group Indirect Sourcing and the Country Management;
• Maintain among his / her reports a high level of purchasing excellence along with a strong focus to service to internal customer within the Country Indirect Sourcing team;
• Help buyers professionally grow in their positions bringing his / her expertise to them;
• Ensure the rotation of portfolios;
• Maintain high level relationship with sites to
• Involve the Operations in all initiatives launched by the Sourcing team
• Enhance the standardization and consolidation of needs
• Facilitate the work of Commodity Leaders
• Ensure the use of frame agreements
• Solve general issues;
• Make sure that suppliers selected are complying with Alstom ethics and Sustainable development;
• Develop high level relationship with key suppliers.
