Responsibility: Engineering (regarding responsibility of her/his scope) of assigned project within Sales tender
process.
Coordination with execution engineering.
Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Knowledge of all links
and impacts of his work on other TE's scope.
Coordination of the technical design with other involved Tender Engineers / departments with
respect on an optimized solution regarding costs and technical concepts of the whole plant.
Review and make comments on the DOW and scope documents.
Review and make comments on the project time schedule and take over the responsibility for
the time schedule regarding her/his scope.
Technical deviations / clarifications on the client specification in respect of his scope under
consideration of the overall plant concept and project guidelines.
Technical system design of the proposal based on overall plant design concept done by TEM
(regarding the responsibility of her/his scope).? Cost of her/his assigned scope.
Quality Assurance requirements for his/her scope.
Technical offer documentation for her/his part.
Technical negotiation with the client in respect of his scope under consideration of the overall
plant concept and project guidelines.
Review of her/his technical part of the contract.
Hand-over to execution of her/his scope.
Act in the best way for the company while satisfy customer needs.
Knowledge about the best available technologies (state-of-the-art of Alstom Power Reference
Plants and equipment standards).
Knowledge about markets and cost trends.
Knowledge about standard technical specifications, country specifics, material availability and
code requirements.
Act on behalf of the execution and be responsible for the commitment of the execution for
critical items.
Request information from the development department.
Give feedback about the market to the development department.
Contact suppliers for technical issues.
Contact procurement department for official inquiry.
Contact and get support from external consultants.
Definition of need to improve her/his qualification / education.
Definition of need and / or development of engineering tools required to support her/his work.
Qualification: BS- or MS-degree in engineering or equivalent.? In-depth water steam cycle knowledge of the power plant systems.
