a. Summary of job contents

The regional technical support engineer for Electric Drives is responsible for providing quick and accurate response to all technical enquiries related to Electric Drives from Festo Companies in Asia Pacific.

b. Job Description:

· Providing technical support regarding the Electric Drive product range to the Festo Companies in Asia Pacific

· Independent handling of technical queries/problems related to Electric Drive product range

· Communicating quickly, reliably and effectively with the Festo Companies in Asia Pacific

· Advising the Festo Companies on the use of these components and systems in a wide range of applications and industries

· Working in close cooperation with Technical Support in HQ (TSHQ)

· Supporting the SECs in Asia Pacific for Electric Drive related service calls and commissioning jobs

· Preparing and holding technical training sessions for the Festo Companies in Asia Pacific

c． Knowledge/skills/experience

Knowledge: Technical University Degree (mechatronics, electrical or electronic Engineer), Bachelors or Masters

Specialist Knowledge:

· Technical knowledge：

Good skills in the field of automation with Electric Drives.

Basic Knowledge of PLC programming & fieldbus technology relating predominantly to CoDeSys, Siemens STEP 7, Allen Bradley & Omron,

· Knowledge of market/industry segments：

Either experience in special purpose machine building or in commissioning of Electric Drive Automation Systems.

· Organisation knowledge：Ability to work unsupervised &Team oriented

Skills:

Language Skills: Very fluent in English

Computer Skills: MS Office

Experience: 3-5 years With Electric Drives
